Where It's Grown
Our American ginseng (Panax quinquefolius) is grown in Marathon County, Wisconsin, in partnership with Dairyland Ginseng Farm — a region responsible for the majority of the ginseng grown in the United States. The area's cool climate, hardwood-shaded fields, and mineral-rich soil are widely considered among the best growing conditions for ginseng anywhere in the world.
How It's Harvested and Prepared
- Roots are typically harvested after 3–5 years of growth, once they've reached full maturity
- Harvested roots are carefully washed and sun- or air-dried to preserve their natural composition
- Slices are cut and powder is milled in small batches to maintain freshness
Our Sourcing Standards
We work directly with Dairyland Ginseng Farm in Wisconsin. Every shipment is CITES certified and inspected by AQIS (Australia's biosecurity authority) on import, so you can trust both the origin and the safe passage of every batch that reaches Australia.
A Note on Freshness
Because our ginseng is dried and packaged without additives or fillers, we recommend storing it in a cool, dry place, sealed, away from direct sunlight — this helps preserve its quality until you're ready to use it.
